#7 - To All The Boys and Rom-Com Guilty Pleasures

It's just the Swiss gang today with Kally, Michelle, and Ewan. We talk about the To All The Boys sequel, the Netflix Rom-Com film series. After the surprising critical success of To All The Boys, I've loved before Netflix decided to greenlight two sequels. We talk about both these films and how they work as one big story altogether. Later, we go through a list of Rom-Com films we've seen, (Or at least the girls have) and put them in different categories like #endgame, High School Sweethearts and Guilty Pleasures.

#5 - Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey & Best Margot Robbie Movies

Harley Quinn has been unleashed! Ewan, Kally, and Lachlan jump into the latest outing from Warner Bros. DC Universe. We discuss the titular character emancipation from her ex, the terrible Joker played by Jared Leto, although he is noticeably absent in this installment. We get a few additions with Black Canary, Cassandra Cain, Black Mask aka Roman Sionis, Huntress and Zsasz.

Margot Robbie as the lead, Cathy Yan directing and Christina Hodson as the writer makes this a predominantly female lead production that sadly disappointed at the box office. We talk about possible reasons for this and rank the post-Dark Knight DC films from worst to mediocre.

#3 - 2020's Most Anticipated Movies

On today's podcast, the team discusses their most anticipated movies of 2020 ranging from films by Wes Anderson, David Ficher and Edgar Wright to goliath of entertainment media company Disney with their latest outings to the MCU with Black Widow and Eternals, as well as new animated features like Pixar's Soul and Disney Animations Raya and the Last Dragon. There's no change when it comes to remakes and sequels with Spielberg's retelling of West Side Story the 1961 musical adaptation of the same name. Villeneuve brings us the remake of the 1984 Dune, an adaptation of Frank Herbert's novel from the '60s and Disney is continuing to ruin? our childhood by remaking yet another recent classic with a remake of the 1998 animated film Mulan.
