MAY DECEMBER is Deliciously Awkward
It's that time of the year when the films that premiered at Cannes finally release for all audiences worldwide and among them is this week's movie May December. Ewan shares his love for Todd Haynes filmmaking while Lachlan loved the movie more for its technical achievements rather than narrative ones. Ewan also caught some Christmas-themed movies like The Holdovers and «It's a Wonderful Knife» and they both sat through the horrible Family Switch, why? - they still don't know. Lachlan (re)watched a couple more Ridley Scott movies including Thelma & Louise and Gladiator and is very excited for the live-action Fallout series that just premiered its first trailer. Finally, Furiosa, The Boys Season 4, and House of the Dragon Season 2 all premiered their first trailers this week.
We watched The Killer and Five Nights at Freddy's
Ewan and Lachlan did it... They watched Five Nights At Freddy's. Can they consider themselves fans of the franchise or will they hate it as much as Ewan hated Slotherhouse? David Fincher's The Killer is also out (only in select theatres and soon on Netflix). They discuss the role of Hitmen in movies and go over the latest delays of Elio, Snow White, and more.
Why Everyone Hates THE EXORCIST BELIEVER.
Ewan and Lachlan discuss the current state of Horror and share their thoughts on The Exorcist Believer. Lachlan rewatched Talk To Me, started One Piece and is struggles with his hay fever for the second time this year. Ewan is back from the Zurich Film Festival and spotlights a couple of films he liked before a more extensive recap later this week. Finally, they both caught Wes Anderson's four short films based on Roald Dahl's stories and finished the @ahsokaofficial series.
