#18 - Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga

Eurovision-Noob Ewan and -Expert Kally review Netflix's latest original Eurovision Song Contest: The Story of Fire Saga. Ewan is on awe while Kally seemingly explains the entire history of the Eurovision Song Contest. Also, why IS Australia a part of it? It's kinda weird. The Russo brothers are set to direct and produce an adaptation of the 2009 novel THE GRAY MAN with stars Ryan Gosling and Chris Evans as the leads. The budget is supposedly a staggering 200 Mio. and the Netflix production is set to start shooting in January. For now.

Ewan and Kally go over what they've been watching recently and in the segment, Ewan talks about his first experience back in a public screening of The Dark Knight as well as the type of moviegoers that go back to cinemas first. Both hosts watched movies that were recommended to them on a Discord server they recently joined called The Film Club and r/Letterboxd. Links to those will be below. The films include The Forbidden Room, The Puffy Chair, Persona, Two Hands, Four Lions, Old Joy, The Purge: Election Year, Shutter Island, and Carol.

The newest Spike Lee Joint production DA 5 BLOODS seems to have come out at the perfect time to support a movement that the expert director has been tackling for over 30 years. In DA 5 BLOODS Four African American Vietnam veterans return to Vietnam. They are in search of the remains of their fallen squad leader and the promise of buried treasure. These heroes battle forces of humanity and nature while confronted by the lasting ravages of the immorality of the Vietnam War. Ewan and Lachlan introduce five new shows that the QUIET ON SET PODCAST will be seperated in and tease new week's episode about DO THE RIGHT THING in the new format ROLL THAT AGAIN.
